OWH Poll: Senator Kerrey Closes Gap Considerably; Race Now a Dead Heat

Fischer's Support Plummets as Nebraskans Learn the Facts of Her Land Grab and Budget Proposals

OMAHA – The Omaha World Herald released a new poll in its Sunday edition further confirming that the Senate race is a dead heat. The poll shows Senator Bob Kerrey with 45 percent and Deb Fischer with 48 percent. The poll is within the 3.5 percent margin of error.

The World Herald said "Kerrey is now within striking distance." The new poll verifies previous polls from the Kerrey Campaign and Pharos Research Group that also showed the margin in low single digits recently.
